Discover Punta Mita Mexico – New Dining with the Girls!

If you’ve follow our blog, you know we LOVE Punta Mita.  My most recent trip was a “Chicas” getaway!  For 15 years we’ve watched Punta Mita continue to evolve as a paradise destination; always adding new dining experiences. 

To our delight, we returned to some faithfully delightful restaurants: La Rustica  and Tacos y Papas. 

Parrot Fish

 “We’re not just a restaurant we’re an experience”….So says the new Parrot Fish restaurant website…and they delivered!  The food is a fresh blend of Asian and traditional Mexican/Latin cuisine, served with a creative cocktails.  The “Porn Star Martini” and the “Ultimate Margarita”.  Both the presentation and blend of flavors set the tone for our night.

Our Menu Choices

For dinner we dined on Lobster Rolls, Burrata Cheese Marinated with Miso and Shimeji  Mushroom Risotto.  The DJ kept the vibe lively playing music that had all the diners singing along (think “Sweet Caroline” bah bah bah 🎶).

Brunch

A great breakfast took us 30 minutes north to Maria’s in San Pancho.  For this group it was Green or Mango Smoothies to start, followed by Latte’s.  Breakfast was highlighted with Chilaquiles, Egg scramble with homemade Chorizo.  Maria’s offers an extensive breakfast and lunch menu.

For our last morning, we stayed close to home….Boca Deli is located just outside the back gate of  Punta Mita  in the quaint town of Anchlote.  Before taking in the local shops we decided to fortify with a healthy, delicious breakfast.  From the Avocado toast, Breakfast Burritos or Egg Scramble everything was perfect, especially the welcoming and attentive service!
