Now that you’ve digitized & backed up all those great memories, it’s time to display your work! While digitizing old photos is a time consuming task, displaying digital photos makes it all worth it.

Sure, you could show off your photos with your phone or tablet, but it wouldn’t do your memories justice. Fortunately, there are better ways of showing off your newly digitized pictures!

Digital Photo Frames for Displaying Digital Photos

Digital Photo frames allow you to display thousands of rotating photos from the confines of a more traditional photos frame. High definition screens & wire free connectivity make photo frames a great option. They also come in a wide variety of frame styles. Also, unlike early generations of photo frames setup & operation is straightforward. Digital picture frames can display photos from SD cards, USB ports, your phone/tablet, the cloud, google photos, Dropbox, Social media etc…. You can also share photos directly to the frame via email, from wherever you are. A great gift for a loved one!

Smart TV’s

One of the most useful aspects of Smart TV’s is their ability to display your photos on the big screen! LG, Sony, Samsung etc… come with pre-loaded Apps like Apple Airplay 2, Chromecast & Android TV. If you’re in the market for a TV, make sure you factor in which way your family leans: Apple IOS or Google Android. Having a Smart TV that matches your phone(s) or tablet(s) makes for a simple operation to display your newly digitized photos.  Additional Apps like Google Photo, Flickr, Shutterfly, Facebook, SmugMug can also be found as native apps on various Smart Tv’s.

Steaming Media Devices

If your Smart TV doesn’t have the exact App you like, you can take advantage of your streaming media service. Streaming Media devices are are a great solution for displaying digital media. Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Google Chromecast are all reasonably priced and attach to your TV; typically through your HDMI port on the back of your TV. We use Apple TV, which allows us to stream all our photos and video’s using Apple photo and iCloud.

Game Consoles

Game consoles like Xbox & Playstation let you stream photos wirelessly from a smart phone or tablet.

HDMI Ports & Memory Cards

This wouldn’t be my first choice, but you can also buy an HDMI cable that attaches to your phone/table and the TV. This allows you to directly display photos. The same would be true with an SD memory card, which you could pop out of your camera and into the SD reader on the TV.

Once you’ve done the hard work of digitizing all the old photos, displaying your memories around the house is easy, attractive and convenient! Digital frames & Streaming media devices & game consoles let you display and instantly share the latest family photos.
